Please tell us about your experiences = I finally found "The Pet People" after about 9 months of searching for a dog walker who I felt would really care about my dog and not just see her as a money making object. When I met Sam I knew that I'd finally found the dog walker I was looking for, and Sam has been walking Meg for several months now. However the service Sam provides goes far beyond just 'walking my dog' and this, for me, is what really makes the difference - I know that Sam really cares about my dog and will look after her, Meg is constantly socialised, played with and kept in line - as a result I have a happy contented dog who clearly adores Sam. Overall this makes me a very happy dog owner.
So thank-you Sam, from both of us, you provide a very professional service that is much appreciated.
PUPPY SCHOOL:

Our neighbours got the same breed of dog at same time as us, but didn't go to puppy school and you can tell !!!!!
Without such a good start we are sure that Alfie wouldn't be the well behaved adorable adolescent that he is now, and we wouldn't have been having quite as much fun with him......... thanks sam!!

How would you rate the service you received? = Excellent
Please tell us about your experiences = As this is my first puppy I didn't know what to expect from a puppy class and had heard some terrible stories of trainers using forceful methods to get your puppies to do what you want...so I was a little unsure when I took Benji to his first class. However I had absolutely nothing to worry about with Sam...her methods are kind and although it may take time you do get results and a happy puppy and a happy puppy = happy owner!
Sam is obviously enjoys what she does and genuinely loves dogs and dogs love her too. We recently went on one of her organised group dog walks and the results of her training methods were there to see in both her own dogs and in the previous attendees of her puppy school. I would have no worries in recommending Sam's classes to anyone and only wish she did a follow on class!
CAT SITTING:

Service used = Cat sitting
How would you rate the service you received? = Excellent
Please tell us about your experiences = Sam looked after Bagpuss for 1 week, and we were exceptionally happy with the job she carried out. Bagpuss did not have to leave his home and go into a cattery and could lead his 'normal' cat life consisting of sleeping and eating and sleeping and eating.
As well as looking after Bagpuss Sam’s service also meant that the house was not abandoned for a long period of time. We will definitely use Sam again when we go away in the future.
CAT SITTING:

How would you rate the service you received? = Excellent
Please tell us about your experiences = I found Sam at the Pet People to be excellent with my animals, she not only fed them but also played with them and left the kitchen in a spotless condition. Sam also let me know how they were while I was away.
I feel confident in leaving my animals in Sam’s care and have recommended her service to friends and family.
